"I used the mediBall right throughout my pregnancy. I used it while sewing, reading, ironing, watching TV, etc.

When my labour started, the first thing I wanted was my mediBall. Right through first stage, I only had one contraction when I wasn’t on the mediBall, and I only got through half of that one before I was looking for it!

We took the mediBall with us to the hospital, the staff there being supportive of active birth.

I stayed on the mediBall until halfway through second stage and spent the rest of second stage kneeling, being supported by my husband who sat on the mediBall.

I stood up to deliver .... I don’t think my active birth would have gone nearly as well if I had not used the mediBall. Contractions were just so much less painful."
